Denver Police Arrest Juvenile Accused In As Many As 20 Robberies
DENVER (CBS4) - Denver police announced they have arrested a juvenile suspected of committing as many as 20 robberies in little over a week.
Sonny Jackson with Denver police said the 17-year-old was arrested with the help of the Aurora Police Department on Wednesday. He's accused in a rash of robberies between Dec. 16 and Dec. 18.
"In the majority of the crimes he robbed convenience stores. He would often commit several robberies, in several jurisdictions in a night," Jackson said in a statement.
The suspect was arrested at an Aurora residence without incident.
Police are not releasing his mug shot or identity because he is a juvenile.
