Damaged Power Line Causes Brush Fires In El Paso County
YODER, Colo. (CBS4)- Damaged power lines are to blame for starting some brush fires in El Paso County.
The fires burned about 75 acres Tuesday near the town of Yoder. No homes were damaged.
Firefighters said the fires are proof that the fire danger exists on the Eastern plains even in the winter months.
The power line was damaged by last weekend's strong winds.
