BOULDER, Colo. (CBS4)- City council members in Boulder voted late Tuesday night to approve the moratorium on licenses for new medical marijuana businesses.

The council voted to hold off on accepting or processing new applications until 8 a.m. Feb. 8 so the city can review rules for the medical marijuana industry.

There are 73 medical marijuana licenses dispensaries in Boulder. A dozen others are pending review.
