Arvada Couple Celebrates New Year With Brand New Baby Girl
LAFAYETTE, Colo. (CBS4) - An Arvada couple is celebrating the new year with a brand new baby girl.
Ashley Ahlmen had a feeling her baby might arrive on New Year's Day and little Aubrey did just that. She was born at 12:01 a.m. at Good Samaritan Hospital in Lafayette.
"They actually did the countdown in the operating room and said, 'Happy new year,' and let us have our new year's kiss; and then a minute later she was here," Ahlmen said.
Mom and baby are going well and they just can't wait to go home.
