DENVER (CBS4) – It’s New Year’s Eve on Saturday, and if you haven’t planned anything yet, you’re not alone.

CBS4’s Alan Gionet has a few options for people who just are a little behind in making plans:

Downtown Denver

For the 10th year in a row you can ring in the new year with a big celebration in Downtown Denver.

The two fireworks shows are at 9 p.m. and midnight on Saturday. The best place to view the fireworks is along the 16th Street Mall.

“By having the two shows it allows people to spread that out in terms of whether they have an early dinner or a late dinner and really come down and join the celebration,” Downtown Denver Partnership spokeswoman Susan Rogers Kark said.

Many hotels are offering deals and packages for the weekend.

The big celebration is likely to be busy but downtown has tens of thousands of parking spaces and RTD is offering free light rail and bus service to and from downtown from many locations around the Denver metro area.

“I would say with the weather forecast we have we’ll be easily over 100,000 people,” Rogers Kark said.

Renee is me. I never never go to downtown for firework or happy new years for many years. I feel bad twenty five years. I said I wanted go to see firework or fun. I said not fair. How I can go. I do not know RTD bus or speical bus to there. My good friend busdriver said he can take me there but he cannot last 5 years ago. I did not liked tv. TV is short limited news.
Now I cannot go. How I can go bus, I do not have no friend. No friend take me there. bored and sad home. People are lucky fun downtown. I have to stay home and dream about firework. I had failed Denver zoo. My group was catch van but I did not in van. Van went to away from me. I got sad Denver zoo my education class few years ago.

I know it is hard time. God is care me.
