MILLIKEN, Colo. (CBS4)- A body was found inside a home that burned early Wednesday morning.
The fire broke out at about 4:24 a.m. at a home at 226 S. Ethel Ave. in Milliken.
Firefighters rushed to the home where they extinguished the blaze. During the investigation into what caused the fire, a body was discovered inside.
The fire caused major damage to the home. It is not clear whether the person died in the fire or was already dead when it started.
An autopsy is scheduled at 9 a.m. Thursday in Loveland. The remains of two pets were removed during the investigation.
CBI agents are aiding in the investigation.
