FORT COLLINS, Colo. (AP) – Wes Eikmeier scored 25 points Monday night to lead Colorado State to an 85-61 victory over Texas Southern.
Dorian Green had 15 points, Greg Smith scored 13 and Kaipo Sabas added 10 points for the Rams (6-4), playing their first game since an 87-64 loss at No. 7 Duke on Dec. 7.
Colorado State led 49-29 at halftime, and owned a 31-22 edge on the glass with Pierce Hornung grabbing a game-high 11 rebounds.
Dexter Ellington led Texas Southern (1-8) with 17 points. The Tigers have lost seven in a row, and all eight of their road games.
