Suspected Deadly Hit & Run Driver Arrested After Turning Himself In

AURORA, Colo. (CBS4)- Police in Aurora arrested the driver wanted in connection with a deadly hit and run that happened earlier this month.

Franck Armand Belibi of Centennial turned himself in to police Friday morning. Police said he was driving a gold Toyota Sequoia that fled the scene of a deadly accident on Dec. 3.

Belibi, 40, was being held on $10,000 bond for careless driving resulting in death and leaving the scene of an accident involving death.

Gregory Havers, 55, was killed near Havana and Mississippi. Police said he just got off a bus and was hit by the gold SUV and then again by a second car going the other direction.

Belibi is an assistant professor at CU Hospital and president of Grace Health Clinic in Aurora.
