Colorado Fugitive Arrested In Nebraska
SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb. (AP) -- A 22-year-old man wanted on a Colorado warrant has been arrested in the Nebraska Panhandle.
Police say Bruno Hernandez, of Fort Lupton, Colo., was captured Thursday afternoon at a motel in Scottsbluff.
Scottsbluff police say two rifles, ammunition and some suspected drugs were found in the room.
Hernandez is being held in the Scottsbluff County jail.
The warrant says Hernandez is wanted for failing to appear on charges of attempted first-degree murder, witness tampering and weapons charges.
It's not clear yet whether Hernandez will fight extradition to Colorado. His lawyer didn't immediately return a call Friday from The Associated Press.
