5 Children, 2 Adults Hurt In Northern Colorado Rollover

FORT COLLINS, Colo. (AP) – The Colorado State Patrol says five children and two adults were injured when a minivan ran off Interstate 25 in northern Colorado and rolled.

Trooper Nate Reid says the victims suffered moderate to serious injuries in the crash Saturday. The minivan was southbound on I-25 near Fort Collins.

The driver was identified as 30-year-old Jennifer Lamblin of Cheyenne, Wyo. The others were not identified. Authorities say they don’t know what the relationships are among the vicitms.

The injured children ranged from 2 to 8 years old. An adult male was also hurt.

Reid says two of the children were in improperly installed child restraints. The others were in booster seats or wearing seat belts.

He says Lamblin was not wearing a seat belt. It’s unclear whether the adult male was.
