FORT COLLINS, Colo. (AP) – The Colorado State Patrol says five children and two adults were injured when a minivan ran off Interstate 25 in northern Colorado and rolled.
Trooper Nate Reid says the victims suffered moderate to serious injuries in the crash Saturday. The minivan was southbound on I-25 near Fort Collins.
The driver was identified as 30-year-old Jennifer Lamblin of Cheyenne, Wyo. The others were not identified. Authorities say they don’t know what the relationships are among the vicitms.
The injured children ranged from 2 to 8 years old. An adult male was also hurt.
Reid says two of the children were in improperly installed child restraints. The others were in booster seats or wearing seat belts.
