Colorado Symphony Names CEO, CBS4's DeHaven Joins Board

DENVER (Denver Business Journal) - Gene Sobczak, who has run the Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities as executive director since 2007, has been named the new president and CEO of the Colorado Symphony.

Six new trustees also were elected to the board of the symphony, including Walt DeHaven, CBS4's general manager. The symphony has been wracked by controversy and there was a mass resignation of board members in September in a dispute with musicians over work rules and symphony finances.
