DENVER (CBS4) – The Christkindl Market has returned to downtown Denver again this year.

The market features handcrafted gifts and food with a German flair. It is located in Skyline Park across 16th Street Mall from the downtown skating rink.

The market is open Sunday through Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday through Saturday. It is free to attend.

The market is inspired by the most well-known Christmas market, the Christkindlesmarkt in Nuremberg, Germany.

The German American Chamber of Commerce sponsors the market, which continues through Dec. 23.
