Starting Monday, we are starting a new tradition here at CBS4.

Our bosses came up with the idea of doing 12 stories on 12 different organizations/charities/foundations 12 days before Christmas.

We wanted to focus on the people around us that give so much of themselves on a daily basis.

Our community is rich with selfless “givers.”

It’s time we meet more of them.

It’s a project I’m proud our station has taken on, and one I hope you’ll enjoy as we countdown to Christmas and count the blessing we all have in our lives.

My story runs Monday at 10 p.m., so I’ll hope you’ll join us as we kick off the 12 days of Christmas!
