Man In Prison For Killing Child Murdered
STERLING, Colo. (CBS4) - A man convicted of killing an 11-year-old boy is dead after what's being called "suspicious circumstances" at a Colorado prison.
Lyle White, 40, died Thursday at the Sterling Correctional Facility. White had been serving a life sentence for the 2000 murder of Littleton fifth-grader Antonio Davalos.
The child was strangled at his Grandmother's home, stuffed in a duffel bag and thrown in a trash bin near Columbine High School.
White lived with Davalos' grandmother.
Prison officials aren't saying much about what happened. They did say another inmate has been placed in the prison's high security section.
