Denver Zoo Holds Annual 'Feast With A Beast'
DENVER (CBS4) - Elephants were treated to large pumpkins at the Denver Zoo on Friday.
It's called "Feast With a Beast" and is held the day after Thanksgiving every year. They stomp them, then eat them.
One of the zoo's newest arrivals, an elephant named Zuri, got in on the action.
Zoo officials say by feeding animals pumpkins it helps encourage natural hunting and foraging.
