Legacy's Band Director Says Students Are Loving The Big Apple

DENVER (CBS4) - When watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade on Thanksgiving, look for the Legacy High School Marching Band.

The band from Broomfield will perform in the parade in New York City.

Band director Clay Stansberry talked with CBS4 via Skype about how the students are spending their time in the Big Apple.

"They're having a great time out here in New York City. You know we've been seeing all the sites. We've really been performing -- last night --  yesterday we had an opportunity. There's another band performing in the parade staying at our hotel and we actually performed for each other. It was a great experience," Stansberry said.

Legacy has been practicing for the parade since May.
