Snowboarder Dies At Breckenridge
BRECKENRIDGE, Colo. (CBS4)- A snowboarder died at Breckenridge Ski Resort Friday afternoon.
Evan Massini, 20, was snowboarding on Peak 8, Northstar Trail at Breckenridge when he hit a tree.
Ski patrol was called to the trail at about 1 p.m. Friday. Ski patrol provided advanced life support. An ambulance took Massini to Breckenridge Medical Center.
Massini was wearing a helmet but suffered massive internal injuries when he struck the tree.
Massini was a student at the University of Colorado. He was from Westbrook, Conn. Massini was snowboarding with his roommates for the day.
