Downtown Denver Public Library Roof Catches Fire
DENVER (CBS4)- Firefighters rushed to the Denver Public Library located at 14th and Broadway to extinguish a fire on the roof Wednesday afternoon.
Firefighters were called to the Central Library location at about 2:20 p.m. but say the small fire was extinguished by library workers before firefighters actually arrived.
The fire started when the roofing tar ignited. Workers were applying roofing tar to the library's roof.
The library was not evacuated. No one was hurt.
