3 Charged At Grand Junction Foreclosure Auction
GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (AP) -- Three people have been detained after they interrupted a foreclosure auction in Grand Junction.
Police spokeswoman Kate Porras says those detained on Wednesday are believed to be part of the anti-Wall Street movement. She says the three are facing charges of trespassing.
Protester Ronnie Turner says the group was trying to stop foreclosure of 26 homes at an auction by chanting and waving signs.
