4 Stabbed In Southwest Denver, 3 In Critical Condition

DENVER (CBS4) - Denver police have confirmed that four people were stabbed in the 1000 block of South Eliot Street in southwest Denver on Tuesday evening.

Police said three of the victims were taken to the hospital with critical injuries. The fourth sustained non-critical injuries.

The stabbings occurred in an alley near the Mimosa Manor apartment complex located near Federal Boulevard and Mississippi.

Police believe the incident happened shortly after 6 p.m. There are about 40 units in the complex. According to the Denver Post, it's the same complex where a young woman was stabbed to death in August.

Det. John White said a fifth person sustained minor injuries and was taken into custody after he was released from the hospital. Police aren't officially calling him a suspect.

Investigators have not made any arrests and it's not clear what led to the stabbing.

Anyone with information is asked to call Denver police.
