Labor Contract At Center Of Colorado Symphony Dispute

DENVER (Denver Business Journal) - How'd you like six weeks of vacation a year, 90 days of paid sick leave and a little income pop every time you couldn't make it in to work and the boss got a lower-paid employee to fill in for you?

Not good enough? Let's add that you only have to work a maximum of 20 hours a week, are paid to look for other work whenever you want and collect a paycheck even when you're not actually doing your job.

Sounds like a great deal, doesn't it? Which is why the members of the Denver Musicians Association Local 20-623 are trying to hang on to it so badly. Who wouldn't?
