Parker School Honors 76 Veterans At Assembly

PARKER, Colo. (CBS4) – A middle school in Parker held a special ceremony on Friday for Veterans Day.

Cimarron Middle School invited 76 veterans of varying ages to a special morning assembly and breakfast. Some of the veterans served in World War II.

Prior to the assembly all of the students at the school wrote about the sacrifice of veterans and what their service means. Their words were posted in the halls of the school in special displays. They also made a video honoring veterans.

Cimarron Middle School released the following photos taken on Friday during the proceedings:
