Photos Of Suspects In Connection With Jewelry Robbery Released

DENVER (CBS4) - Police have released mug shots of two people arrested after a jewelry store robbery in Denver.

Vincent Matthews, 21, and Ronette Sheri Hatch, 22, were arrested during a traffic stop in Salina, Utah. Police believe they are connected to the robbery at Sonny's Rocks jewelry store in late August after officers found some of the stolen jewelry from the heist in their car.

The two were extradited from Utah to Denver at the end of September. They are being charged with theft by receiving and not robbery.

Surveillance video from the heist showed two people dressed similarly to clowns forcing store employees to open their display cases at gunpoint and then collecting the jewelry inside.
