Driver Wanted After Hitting Several People, Killing 1

GREELEY, Colo. (CBS4) - Police in Greeley are looking for a man they believe intentionally drove into a group of people over the weekend, killing one person and injuring three others.

Joel Chairez, 25, is wanted for one count of first degree murder and four counts of attempted murder. Investigators say he intentionally drove into a crowd outside a 7-Eleven in Greeley early Sunday morning after an altercation at a nearby bar.

Juan Cortez-Rodriguez, 43, died on Tuesday in the hospital.

The Greeley Tribune reported that Chairez is a student at the University of Northern Colorado and his full name is Joel Chairez-Munoz Jr.
