City Council Asks Mayor Hancock To Back Out Of Stock Show Application

DENVER (CBS4) - The Denver City Council is asking Mayor Michael Hancock to pull out of a plan to help the National Western Stock Show move out of Denver.

The city is on an application with Aurora for state subsidies to move the show near Denver International Airport.

The Denver Post reports council president Chris Nevitt says it makes no sense for the city to be part of a proposal that would hurt Denver's effort to keep the show.
