Cunning Intruder Hides In Colorado Springs Family's Bathtub

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (CBS4) - A cunning intruder sneaked inside a Colorado Springs home and hid in a bathtub.

The intruder was a 40-pound raccoon. Alice Scott found the critter this week. She said the animal seemed content to curl up and relax in the tub and wasn't even afraid of the camera, posing for several shots.

Scott called in the pros who evicted the visitor against its wishes. It turned out the raccoon got in to the house through the doggie door.

The raccoon was taken into the forest and released back into the wild.
