Haunted Houses Offer More Than Traditional Shrieks And Shrills

DENVER (CBS4)- Halloween is quickly approaching and with fall comes a renewed interest in scary stuff.

For CBS4 Critic at Large Greg Moody, that means haunted houses. Watch his review of the Denver metro area's best from the mildly scary to freakishly frightful below.

A couple of the best haunted houses, according to GetScared.com, are:

- The 13th Floor, 4120 Brighton Blvd. This one features 75 actors in state-of-the-art makeup "ready to leap out and stop your ticker," according to Moody.

- The Asylum, 6100 E. 39th St. This one is tied to the new Zombieland attraction
