Parachutist Hits Power Line, Starts Fire

RUSH, Colo. (AP) – A parachutist hit a power line near Colorado Springs on Tuesday and started a grass fire.

The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office says the Air Force called it a training accident.

According to KRDO-TV, there was no word on any injuries.

Authorities said the grass fire was confined to one acre and quickly extinguished.
