NORTHGLENN, Colo. (CBS4)– A student walking home from school on Thursday told police she was approached by a suspicious man.

It happened at about 2:30 p.m. near Westview Elementary School. The man was driving a newer model black two-door car. The man allegedly opened the passenger side door and told the student to get in the vehicle.

The student ran home and told a parent about the incident, who then called Northglenn Police.

The man is described as Hispanic, in his 20s, approximately 6 feet tall with a thin build and a goatee. He was wearing a green beanie and a green tank top with black pants.

Anyone with information regarding this incident or other suspicious activity should contact the Northglenn Police Department.
