Search Resumes For Man Missing In Colorado River
RIFLE, Colo. (AP) - A search-and-rescue team is resuming the hunt for a man who fell into the Colorado River last week when a fishing boat struck a bridge pillar.
The Garfield County Sheriff's Department says the search team will target a boat ramp in the western Colorado town of Rifle on Wednesday.
Authorities say the man and two companions were fishing when their boat struck the bridge on Friday. All were ejected but the other two survived.
Their names haven't been released.
The search began the day of the accident. Search teams have used ultrasound, an underwater camera, divers and dogs.
