Volunteers Plant Trees On The South Platte Trail
DENVER (CBS4) - More than 100 volunteers went to work on the South Platte Trail on Saturday.
More than 20 trees were planted along the Mary Carter Greenway to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the 10,000 Trees Projects. The project started in 1990 with a mission to keep the area beautiful.
The South Suburban Park Foundation received a $20,000 grant from the Mile High Million to plant the trees.
