LAKEWOOD, Colo. (CBS4) – Police say the two Starbucks robbery suspects arrested Saturday may be linked to a dozen other robberies in the metro area.
Thanks to a tip from a witness the suspects were arrested at a hotel in Lakewood less than 12 hours after they robbed two Starbucks coffee shops in Arvada.
The suspects first held up a Starbucks in the 6600 block of Wadsworth Boulevard Friday night. They then hit another Starbucks in the 8000 block of Wadsworth.
A man wearing a ski mask pointed a gun at store clerks and demanded money. Police believe a woman drove the getaway car.
Nobody was hurt.
Detectives won’t say which other robberies in the metro area could be connected to the suspects.
