Loveland Ski Area Opens For Ski Season
GEORGETOWN, Colo. (AP) - Ski season is starting for Loveland Ski Area.
The resort was opening for the season Friday, a day after Arapahoe Basin started its season.
Wolf Creek was the first resort in Colorado to offer skiing when it ran its lifts Oct. 8-9, just for that weekend. It plans to operate again this weekend.
Arapahoe Basin and Loveland are both on the Continental Divide. They plan to stay open daily until the end of the season.
