Ski Season Opens In Southern Colorado At Wolf Creek
PAGOSA SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) - Usually it's Arapahoe Basin and Loveland ski areas vying to be the first to open for the season. This year, the winner is: Wolf Creek Ski Area.
The ski area in southern Colorado opened Saturday after recently getting 3 feet of new snow on Thursday.
Loveland was the first Colorado resort to open last year on Oct. 24, with Arapahoe Basin starting its season a day later.
