Police Say Man Posed As Officer, Sexually Assaulted Woman
DENVER (CBS4) - Denver police are hunting for a man accused of sexually assaulting a woman last week while posing as a police officer.
The woman says she was approached on Sept. 28 at a bus stop at 32nd and Federal Boulevard and then taken to 45th and Irving.
The suspect was described as being a white man who was about 35. He was also described as being 5-foot-1 and 190 pounds with light colored eyes and balding or short cropped hair.
The woman says he was driving a dark blue Mercedes and told her he was a police officer and to get into the car.
