Moody Finds The Revival Of ‘Hair’ Pleasantly Surprising

DENVER (CBS4) – Forty-four years ago “Hair” premiered and captured the heart of Broadway. Time and tastes passed the rock musical by for a time, but now it’s back with new energy.

CBS4 Critic at Large Greg Moody reviewed the Tony Award winning revival.

“I last saw ‘Hair,’ the American tribal love rock musical, in 1973 at the Augusta Barn Theater in West Michigan,” Moody said. “A friend of mine was in it. She was not in the nude scene, much to my chagrin. Even then I realized that the show was starting to show its seams. So I didn’t know what to expect with this new revival. I was most pleasantly surprised.”
