Man Running For City Council In Commerce City Cited For DUI

COMMERCE CITY, Colo. (CBS4) – A man running for city council in Commerce City was pulled over suspected of driving under the influence of alcohol.

The Adams County Sheriff’s Office says Joe Sandoval was stopped just before midnight on Saturday at 84th and Conifer Road. He was given a summons for DUI and taken to detox.

The 40-year-old works as a criminal investigator for the Gaming and Medical Marijuana Enforcement Division of the Colorado Department Of Revenue.
