DENVER (AP) – Medical marijuana dispensaries say some credit card companies are refusing to honor credit card purchases because of legal concerns.

A medical marijuana lawyer says he thinks it’s the dispensaries that are a little worried about the federal laws.

Several dispensaries have been notified to disconnect their credit machines.

A Visa spokesperson says the company hasn’t changed its policies and Mastercard did not return emails or calls
