AURORA, Colo. (CBS4)- Some students got out of the classroom on Thursday to meet a NASA Astronaut.
Students from Overland High School and Prairie Middle School even got to try on space suits during their visit to the Institute of Science and Technology in Aurora.
They met NASA engineers and learned about life on the International Space Station.
The Cherry Creek School District said these types of activities encourage students to reach for the stars when they plan their careers.
