7th Member Of Aurora City Council Falls Victim To ID Theft
AURORA, Colo. (CBS4) - A seventh member of the Aurora City Council has fallen victim to identity theft.
Several members received bills for items they never purchased after someone used their Social Security numbers to open accounts with the Bill Me Later online service.
The Denver Post reports a temporary city worker had taken computer information on other employees but authorities are still trying to figure out if that's connected to this case.
