AURORA, Colo. (CBS4) – Police in Aurora have arrested a Marine reservist from Loveland after he allegedly shot and seriously injured another Marine overnight.
Barton Enoch, 25, faces tentative charges of second-degree assault in connection with the crime.
Aurora police said six U.S. Marine Corps reservists were gathered at a condo on the 300 block of Granby Way. Early Thursday morning a single shot was fired.
Authorities described the victim’s injuries as life threatening. They haven’t released the identification of the victim.
Police said they are checking into whether alcohol played a role in the crime. They said all of the people who were present are being cooperative with the investigation.
