DENVER (CBS4)- The former Qwest building in downtown Denver is the third-tallest in the city. Just months after Qwest was purchased by CenturyLink, it appears the company is vacating the building.

Watch the complete interview about the possibility of 1801 California Street becoming available with Denver Business Journal’s Dennis Huspeni.

CenturyLink, which owns the master lease on the property through June 30, 2012, isn’t talking about its plans.

“CenturyLink is in negotiations with the current owner of 1801 California Street as we look ahead to when our current lease expires in June, 2012,” spokesman John Hall said in a statement. “Consequently, we are not in a position to discuss the terms of the negotiations.”
