Cyclist Killed By Car On Ute Pass
FRISCO, Colo. (AP) - The Colorado State Patrol says it is still investigating a fatal bicycle crash in Grand County that killed a Silverthorne man.
Sky-Hi News reports that 55-year-old Joel Bramble was killed Saturday afternoon on Ute Pass south of Parshall Saturday afternoon.
The newspaper reports that Bramble collided with an Oldsmobile Cutlass driven by 42-year-old Becky Smiley of Granby.
Bramble was pronounced dead on the scene. He was wearing a helmet. Smiley was not injured.
The State Patrol says alcohol and speed have been ruled out in the crash but that an investigation continues.
