DENVER (CBS4) – Mayor Michael Hancock announced Thursday that Kaiser Permanente will be adding more jobs soon in the Denver area.
Kaiser Permanente plans to open a call center in Denver’s Lowry neighborhood and to hire 140 people.
Hancock said the health care provider “has demonstrated a firm commitment to putting Denverites to work, already adding more than 550 jobs in Denver over the past 2 years.”
The staff at the call center will answer questions for Kaiser Permanente members in Colorado and some other states.
It will eventually be open 24 hours a day.
