Aurora Police Investigate Fatal Shooting At Apartment Complex

AURORA, Colo. (CBS4) - Aurora police are investigating a fatal shooting that happened Tuesday morning.

The shooting happened at the Telegraph Hill apartment complex about 11:45 a.m. at East Harvard Avenue and South Peoria Street.

Police said the victim was a 14- or 15-year-old boy.

"Upon officers' arrival they found a juvenile male who had suffered multiple gunshot wounds. He was subsequently transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries," Cassidee Carlson with Aurora police said in a statement.

Carlson said police stopped a vehicle leaving the apartment complex. A man and a woman were taken to police headquarters for questioning in connection with the shooting. After being question police arrested Eric Holloway, 23, for first-degree murder. Tiffane Ward, 22, will be charged with accessory to murder.

"A search warrant is being sought for an apartment that Holloway and Ward lived in and the vehicle they were driving. Several witnesses were also interviewed by detectives," Carlson said.

The name of the victim hasn't been released.
