Gold Eagle On City And County Building Getting A Makeover

DENVER (CBS4) - The gold eagle that sits atop the City and County Building is getting a makeover. It's part of a major renovation for the entire building.

The eagle is now covered in scaffolding and is being refurbished. The project includes work on the windows and grand steps into the front entrances.

There's also cleaning of the exterior stone facade planned.
