2 Arrested In Livermore Accused Of Growing Pot
LIVERMORE, Colo. (AP) – The Larimer County Sheriff’s office say they arrested two people suspected of having a marijuana growing operation after discovering 220 plats at their Livermore home.
Sheriff’s officials say 23-year-old Lacy Ann Patterson and 25-year-old Anthony Michael Ryker were arrested Thursday on suspicion of possession of more than 100 pounds of marijuana with intent to distribute, marijuana cultivation, criminal mischief and other charges.
Authorities say Patterson and Ryker initially denied growing marijuana but later told investigators the plants were for medical marijuana. The sheriff’s office says the pair did not have documents to support their claim.
Investigators say they could smell a strong odor of marijuana from numerous outbuildings on the property.
