Abandoned Baby May Get Burial In Brighton

BRIGHTON, Colo. (AP) - A baby who died of child abuse in February may finally be put to rest.

A funeral home, a monument company and the City of Brighton are working on a plan to donate a burial space, a headstone and a service for Michael Harris, who was 22 months old.

The mother was arrested and the boy's father cannot be found.

The city council will discuss the proposal on Tuesday.

Roseanna Key has bonded out of jail and is scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday on charges of child abuse resulting in death.
