Flight From Denver Goes Off Runway In Moline

MOLINE, Ill. (AP) - A United Express flight from Denver skidded off the runway when landing at Quad-City International Airport in Moline.

No injuries were reported in the Monday incident in western Illinois. WQAD-TV reports the aircraft made a hard landing and veered off the left side of the runway. The Quad-City Times reports emergency vehicles surrounded the regional jet.

Just one runway is open at the airport because of construction.
