Jeffco Sheriff’s Office Recommends Charges For Accused Police Impersonator

GOLDEN, Colo. (CBS4) – The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is recommending charges be filed against a man accused of impersonating a police officer.

Last week the man told CBS4 he’s been wrongly accused. Investigators believe he outfitted his white Crown Victoria with flashing lights and a siren to look like an unmarked police car They say he tried to pull over a woman.

The district attorney will decide if charges will be filed.
